Well over a year after Gap showed Creative Director, Patrick Robinson, the door, the retail chain has named a replacement, industry veteran, Rebekka Bay.
Even though rumors swirled last September that an announcement was imminent, just today, the brand revealed their pick for new Creative Director and Head of Global Design, reports Business Wire.
Bay has 17 years in the industry, with gigs at Hennes & Mauritz and Bruuns Bazaar on her CV.
The stores' woes haven't discontinued with Robinson's departure: Gap plans to shut down 20% of its North American stores.
Looks like Bay has a big task ahead of her.
