We don't blame you. It's been months since you oohed and ahhed over the Fall 2012 collections, and it's easy to get distracted when you've got summer's swimwear and neon prints to get through. But with autumn now beating down your door, it's time to brush up on the Fall 2012 trends headed your way, one look at a time.
First up? Peplums, which have been given a stay of execution post-Spring 2012 thanks to the likes of Burberry Prorsum, Givenchy, McQ, Zac Posen, and Peter Som. This time round, look for sculptural pieces with a bit of edge—leather and zipper details, a darker palette that picks up the season's gothic leanings, and jackets with a sexy shape.
