Behold a never-before-seen image of Karl Lagerfeld and his fashionably famous feline, Choupette, featured in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar.
The image accompanies a Q&A with the Kaiser about everything you ever wanted (or needed) to know about Choupette.
Despite having two maids, a 24-hour on-call doctor, a driver, and a extensive online following, Karl promises that Choupette has no idea how famous she is. "She has an attitude like a princess," he told Harper's Bazaar. "She knows exactly what she wants."
Much like her owner who sleeps in clean white linens every night and drinks dozens of Diet Coke, Choupette is picky and precise about her lifestyle choices. "She doesn't like to eat on the floor, so I have to put the food on the table. Her dishes are by Goyard. She has one for water, one for her croquette, and one for her pâté. You have to serve everything, and she makes a choice," Karl said.
As to whether he would ever introduce another cat into his life? "No, no, no, no, no. She's the one." Lucky girl!
