Style Spotlight: Michelle Obama
Michelle Obama glowed in a custom-made pink and lavender damask dress by Tracy Reese while giving a moving speech at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The silk jacquard combo frock in abstract baroque wallpaper print flattered the First Lady's fit physique, with a sleeveless style to flaunt her famously toned arms.
FLOTUS accessorized her pink dress with a matching pair of J.Crew’s Everly Suede pumps in bright pink ($245 at J.Crew), completing her look with natural makeup and her signature polished coif.
Tracy Reese told the New York Daily News, “In the midst of fashion week preparations, seeing the First Lady in one of my designs was a truly extraordinary moment. She evokes so much confidence, strength and humility. I am so proud she chose to wear our dress!”
