Olivia Palermo Hits the Runway at Rio Fashion Week
Goodbye Hills, hello Brazil!
It girl and current Marie Claire U.K. cover star Olivia Palermo added a bit of pop to Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week by strutting her stuff in the Coca-Cola Clothing Summer 2012 presentation on June 2.
Joined by models in fringed ponchos, fringed bra cups, and fringed skirts, the leggy beauty took to the runway in—yep, you guessed it—a fringed teal top, which she wore with gold short-shorts, an armful of gold bangles, and strappy platforms.
Palermo also did a turn in a ’60s-inspired, natural-colored minidress with bell sleeves, which was accessorized with several colorful rings.
This isn’t the first time Palermo has modeled retro fashions. In April, she went ’70s rock-star glam in a StyleCaster photo shoot, telling the site, “My taste has evolved over the years, but I have always stayed true to my own personal style, which I would describe as timeless classic with a modern edge.”
Apparently, she has since developed a taste for Coca-Cola.
