Karolina Kurkova went for Old Hollywood glamour in an asymmetrical Armani Privé Fall 2009 mermaid dress at the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony.
The gown was embroidered with Atlantic blue sequins in a wave motif and dotted with clear Swarovski crystals, adding movement to the curve-hugging number.
Organza and crinoline details on the single-shoulder strap drove home a goddess-like aesthetic.
Kurkova accessorized with a black clutch, black strappy heels, and sparkly jewels.
The statuesque 27-year-old Czech completed the look with her new bob in retro waves and peachy pink lips.
