We’ve been seeing the previews, swatches, and teases on Instagram over the last week, and finally
we are just days away from the launch of Kim Kardashian West’s beauty line: KKW Beauty!
In an exclusive interview with WWD, Kim Kardashian West talked about why she waited so long to launch her own collection, and how she feels about competing against her half-sis Kylie Jenner
(who she collaborated with this past April on Kylie’s site, Kylie Cosmetics) in the beauty space.
"I am older than Kylie. We definitely have a different audience." said Kardashian West. Also, KKW Beauty has only one product (for now) – and the product she chose is unsurprising – a Crème
Contour and Highlight kit, designed around her signature contoured look.
Each kit, available in four shades to suit every skin tone, comes with a contour stick, a highlighter
stick and an applicator/sponge, all with dual ends. Each kit retails for $48 and will be available on KKWBeauty.com and Amazon.com
The kits launch Wednesday - so get there quickly, because based on the buzz, and how fast her Kylie collab sold out, industry sources are expecting the kits to sell out within five minutes of the launch - bringing in a quick $14.4 million!
