Ringing in Summer 2012 with some red hot Ruffian hues, the popular New York City-based ready-to-wear line is getting in on the beauty action with a collaboration for MAC Cosmetics.

Ruffian's Brian Wolk and Claude Morais have joined with the beauty brand for a collection of exclusive nail polishes and lipsticks that reflect the fashion label's signature modern-vintage appeal.

The makeup range will include three Ruffian manicures and three lipsticks.

A twist on the classic French manicure, each of the three nail sets features a half-moon manicure with two color tones: Spectator Cream (black half moon, black French tip and black Ruffian insignia), Demoiselle Ruffian red (white half moon and black French tip), and Demilune Matte (black with chrome gold half moon).

From bold red to a whimsical peach, the lipsticks include Ruffian Naked Pale (peachy nude), Ruffian Gold Gold (glitter metallic) and Ruffian Red Classic (a rich blue-red).

Each nail set contains 24 pre-glued nails in assorted sizes for $25, and each lipstick tube is priced at $14.50.

The Ruffian x MAC line will be available for purchase exclusively online from June 18th through July 16th.
