Brinkley’s post-Billy Joel love life hasn’t exactly been the stuff of pop ballads. Her fourth marriage, to architect Peter Cook, ended in tears when he was caught having an affair with an 18-year-old girl. Though the divorce was finalized in 2008, the two didn’t reach a child custody settlement until this summer, with Brinkley accusing Cook of emotional abuse and Cook telling the media that she was out to “publicly castrate” him.
