London calling! We hit the Big Smoke to preview Fall 2012 collections from the likes of Marios Schwab, Roksanda Ilincic, and Peter Pilotto. Tough job, we know.

Going to over-the-top runway shows is one of the most fun things a fashion writer can do, but let’s be real: we all have to get dressed in the morning, and for most of us, this dress isn’t exactly everyday appropriate.

Enter Madewell. Like its sister label, J. Crew, and some other runway-ready but slightly more pared-down lines (3.1 Phillip Lim, I’m looking at you), this is stuff that we really want to wear. Every day.

Stuart Weitzman unveiled its Fall 2012 collection last week, and the big news was bags! That's right, the shoe retailer we all love is launching some very chic purses. It's as if the accessory gods listened to my pleas!

The bags come in gorgeous calf skin and leather, in great shades of sand, black and deep emerald. Very chic and very elegant.

Coach yesterday unveiled its Legacy collection, a revamp of the brand's classic bags. The line, for men and women, takes design cues from iconic pieces, like the duffle sac and other bags pulled from the Coach archives.

If you're thinking these are going to look dated: think again. The new pieces are bright, bold and colorful. Blue, teal, red, pink, and of course, more basic hues, come in three sizes: large, medium and a cute small duffle.
