Prabal Gurung and Barneys New York hosted a launch party last night for the designer's Barneys-exclusive ICB collection.

At the Barneys New York CO-OP location, the warehouse space was buzzing with fashion insiders who came out in the middle of a torrential downpour to support Prabal and enjoy an evening of drinks and dancing.

The Brooklyn-based electronic music and indie rock duo, Tanlines, performed, while Mia Moretti mastered the turn tables the rest of the night.

Barney's own Simon Doonan joined fashion party circuit regulars, Hannah Bronfman, Elin Kling and Man Repeller's Leandra Medine.

For his ICB collaboration, Gurung said, "The inspiration came from the girl, the combination of beauty, intelligence and a little bit of sense of humor is what the ICB girl is all about."

Kaleidescope prints on flirty dresses, tough black jackets accented with leather and fur, a slouchy chartreuse cape, the collection is the definition of affordable luxury and, as Gurung put it, "a stepping stone to what I have to offer in my own collection." Timeless and classic styles with details that add an of-the-moment, modern edge.

Beelining his way to the dance floor, we asked Gurung how he plans to recharge before fashion week. "Meditation, working out, having dinners and enjoying my friends."
