At last—some news about Gisele Bündchen that has nothing to do with whether or not she's expecting Baby #2.

The supermodel traveled to her native Brazil last week as part of the Top CUFA (Central Única das Favelas) model search, which will give one local beauty a shot at fame while aiming to boost self-esteem amongst underprivileged girls living in slums.

A finalist from each of Brazil's 27 states will be presented to a judging panel over August and September, with the winner receiving a year-long modeling contract, a year's worth of Pantene hair products, and the crown that Bündchen won at her first Carnival in Rio.

"I feel privileged to be the sponsor of this project," the top-earning beauty tells the AFP, adding that she was rejected by 42 modeling agencies when she first started out. "I was finally taken on the 43rd try."

And the rest, as they say, is history. The budding lingerie designer told contestants to "know your good side for photos ... feel comfortable in your own skin, and have a lot of perseverance."

Pay attention, girls. Lady knows her stuff.
