Go ahead, this will make you feel real good.

Can't get no satisfaction? That's nothing a Birkin can't fix.

A new study from Saveme4later.com has found that women get the most pleasure out of purchasing a handbag, as opposed to shoes, makeup, or jeans, the Daily Mail reports.

Of the 2,000 women surveyed, one in four said they preferred buying a nice purse to a pair of shoes, which came in second. Summer dresses, concert tickets, jeans, jewelry, a little black dress, chocolates, underwear, and beauty products rounded out the top 10.

"Everyone knows that women love shopping but it's interesting to see what items women get the most pleasure from buying," spokesman Dermot Dennehy tells the paper. "And anyone who has ever seen a woman on payday knows how much pleasure a women gets from splashing their cash on something they have had their eye on for a while."

The study also found that women were more likely to get satisfaction from a shopping purchase because they are more careful with their money compared to five years ago.

Women are also putting more thought into their purchases, with winter coats getting the most consideration and underwear most likely to be a spur-of-the-moment indulgence.

Still, nothing quite hits that pleasure center like a fabulous bag. Isn't that right, Alexa?

Meanwhile, another study finds that shopping can boost your mood.
