Hit the Clubs
There are pretty much as many Fashion Week parties as there are shows, but that’s not to say that you’ll have better luck getting past the velvet rope. However, having an in with a local promoter, club owner, bartender, door man, or party attendee could work in your favor if you’re charming, dressed to kill, and not whipping out your iPhone every five seconds to snap a photo of you posing with Kirsten Dunst and Sean Avery. And if it’s a no-go, avoid making a scene or playing the “do you know who I am” game. It’s just not your night.
