Start a Fashion Blog
Fashion Week is limited to buyers, press, and celebrities. And because it’s unlikely that you’ll rocket to fame in the next couple of weeks, your best bet is to start a fashion blog to build your press credentials. A bare-bones Wordpress account won’t cut it-you’ll need a fresh design, keen eye, thoughtful commentary, some artfully staged photos of you getting your Susie Bubble on, and impressive web traffic. You can use the site as a reference to register online as press, but whether or not it gets you past the gatekeepers is anyone’s guess.
