The good news: New York Fashion Week needs volunteers to serve as ushers, fill goodie bags, and perform other small tasks. The bad news: The application cut-off date was July 6. You could try your luck at emailing for a last-minute spot, as there’s always a slim possibility that extra hands are still need. Otherwise, act early next season and apply about two months ahead of the shows. Note: Volunteers must be 18 years of age and are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
