Market Watch: Twenty8Twelve
Did you know Twenty8Twelve had great blazers? Yeah, neither did I. The sisters Miller have certainly grown in their designs. The Fall collection is full of leather jackets, tuxedo jackets (my personal must-have item), softer-than-soft jeans (seriously, I could sleep in them), and blazers galore.
It's kind of strange to call out a black blazer ($565) as my favorite item but this one is slightly oversize with wide lapels. Paired over a dress or jeans, and I'm set. The gray, single-button blazer ($315) is a work staple. Apparently, the focus for Fall was wardrobe staples, and this collection is chock-full of them.
Sure, there were flirty dresses and sheer tops, but the knits and tees were the other highlights. The gray knit sweater ($699) is long enough for the really daring to wear sans pants. I, however, am not that brave. And really, no one needs to see that. But with jeans, it's perfect.
The items start hitting stores in July.
