Kate Middleton doesn't often shy away from her staple long chestnut waves, bold brows and heavy eyeliner, so when Ms. Middleton added new playful side-swept bangs to her look, the twittersphere/blogosphere took note.
From Elie Saab to Versace, blunt bangs were one of the featured trends on the Fall 2012 runways, and the straight-across-style got plenty of play on the red carpet and off, seen on everyone from Jessica Biel to Rooney Mara.
The recent Spring 2013 shows featured more exaggerated side parts and swoop styles, and Kate's recent bang display has reiterated the chic appeal of the fringe.
